Start to our Longest Summer EVER!!!

So we started off our longest summer ever with a first. We decided we were going to attempt to watch a movie with Little H. The Movie: Shrek the Third. He did better than we expected made it until the last 20 minutes of the movie and he just couldn't sit still or quiet anymore. All in all it was a good experience, we know the movie needs to be faster paced, if we are going to attempt it again.

We finished off our first day of Summer at Dairy Queen.

I am so excited for this summer, I plan on doing a lot of different things with Henry and keep ourselves busy, having fun, relaxing, and of course we will leave plenty of time for sleeping. I will be updating regularly, so check up on us as often as you would like!!!!!

Mini-Vacation & Momma's Day

I FINALLY got to go to the outlets in San Marcos. (I had never been before, but I will be going back.) We have not taken a road trip in a while. Henry does not travel well, but he did a super job this time. We went shopping in San Marcos. He has named Laurie,"Lalo", she was his backseat buddy for the ride up there and back.

After we had a day of vigorous shopping. Laurie's mom met us and she went to spend time with her for Momma's day. We headed for San Antonio where we planned to meet up with Aunty Jess and Uncle Ruben. They were attending the Spurs game. We walked the River Walk, had dinner, and did a little more shopping.

On the elevator at our hotel.

John and I on the River Walk.

Henry enjoyed watching the people walk by below us...

Then on Sunday we ate breakfast with Jess and Ruben. Forgot the camera both times. Sorry Jess. We headed back towards San Marcos to pick up Laurie and head to Wonder World. John had been, but we hadn't. It was fun, poor John had to carry Little H through the entire cave, but we still had fun.

Henry was reading up on Wonder World.

It has to be love...

My Momma's Day Picture with Henry

This was a great mom's day. It is such a blessing to have Henry in my life and I thank God everyday for him. It is so wonderful to watch him grow and all the new things he does on a daily basis. He is growing so fast and becoming more and more curious and soaks in so much of what we do. It is so amazing to see his development and to watch him learn.
