Happy New Year -- January 1, 2011
We brought in the New Year with John's parents; they came in for a few days to visit the kiddos. It was as usual a wonderful visit.

On Saturday, Henry had his first friend over to play for the day. It was so neat to see how he interacts. He is a talkative and hyper kid around his friend!! Henry told me when they were journaling in class today (Monday), that they wrote similar things and they did not even know it. Henry wrote: Me and Nicholas played beyblade and trucks outside. Nicholas wrote: I went to Henry's and we fished. SO Sweet!

SUNDAY was Johns 31st birthday. Though we would have loved to do more, I think the best thing was just spending time together. Happy Birthday John, we love you!!
And sigh, I am caught up!! :) Last week was an adjustment going back to work and school, I miss being off already. We are looking forward to spring break where we will be going on our 1st annual Bente family vacation. We are heading to Colorado to spend sometime with some wonderful friends of ours and we are going to sight see New Mexico on the way home. Let me know if you know of any great places in either spots. We are in the planning mode right now. We will be visiting Denver and Estes Park in CO and Santa Fe and Carlsbad in New Mexico. I know we will be in need of resting spots, so if you know of any great sights or must visits, give me some ideas!! Have a wonderful week!!!!!
