A Quick Post Before Thanksgiving!

First of all, I have to say Twilight was a success!! I was very impressed on how they portrayed the book, it took me about 15 minutes to stop comparing the book to the movie, once I was able to do that, I LOVED IT!! I had my doubts on Edward, but the actor did an outstanding job!!! We are trying to go back Sunday and watch it one more time! I am officially a "Twi-Hard".

On a family note!!! We have not been up to much lately, saving our energy for when we head to South Padre for Thanksgiving. Last weekend we went to the Renaissance Festival, it was fun, but I have to admit, I enjoyed it much more when I was younger!! John brought home a co-workers go-kart and the boys had a blast on it all weekend, I tried once, but it was really bouncy!!

Besides it becoming too cold, we still had a good time, the food was GREAT!! John took Henry on a spinning ride, I have never seen Henry run to me so fast once it was over, his face was timeless, lets just say he did not think the ride was very fun!

Baby Update:
I went to the doctor yesterday morning, everything looks good. They had a little trouble finding the heart beat which was a tad nerve-racking, but then they brought a more experienced assistant in and she found the beat in no time. We will find out the sex of the baby on December 17th!! SO KEEP THINKING GIRL!!!! Since I had a c-section the first time, we have decided on another one, so I am scheduled for a c-section on April 27th. I am 16 weeks and 6 days today. Here is a recent picture of the baby belly.

Okay, I have become a fairly avid reader over the past few years and I should be since I am constantly onto my students about reading as well. I have to admit, I have become a tad obssed over the Twilight Saga!!! (I love Edward)Inside joke to those who have read the books!!! ;)The quote above is actually a quote from the book. Anyhow, I am soooooooooooooooo excited about next Friday - 11/21/2008, the first book in the Saga is being made into a movie. I know, it will never compare to the book, but I am estatic about my favorite characters being brought to life; even though I believe I should of been consulted in the making of the movie. Ha! I just want to share this with anyone who is interested. I highly recommend reading the series first, BUT if you are not much of a reader, the movie will have to do. But I can already say the books are 100X better!! ;)So, anyone looking for a few good reads to get lost in try this on for size. In order:

TrIcK oR tReAt & MoNsTeR tRuCkS...

This past weekend just flew by! We were busy, busy. Halloween was a treat. This was Henry's first year to want to dress up and our first time trick or treating!! Henry was a boxer and he was sooooo adorable. He thought it was too cool to ring a doorbell and get candy in return. We visited my mom's house, and then moved on to my Aunt Shirley's house; trick or treated her neighbhorhood for a bit and then went on to Nan & Paw's. It was a great experience. I will let the pictures do the rest!!!

Saturday we took Henry to Houston Motorsports Park to see a Monster Truck Show, it was fun, but once you have been to Monster Jam, everything else is sort of small!! BUT, he was able to get close to all the trucks. So worth it!!
