Ending May in Style!!

I wanted to make one last post in May, before we transition into full fledge summer vacation mode!!! {Love it!} We have actually been doing a lot, but surprisingly my camera has not been with me for most of it, it is just too big for some things, I'm thinking I should invest in a smaller, fit in my purse, camera for times like those. We'll see...

First off, if you remember the previous post, my graduating class from high school won our 2nd annual Matball Tourney, so being the champions we are, we had a Winners Dinner, it was a sight, 25-30 of us eating at Chuy's. It was a lot of fun.

We are #1!!
Miguel, Me, and the hubs!

We participated in Austin's Army this year, that was a special time and I am so glad we were part of that.

We had our first annual Ez-ee Freezee BBQ, John's co-workers came over to our place and we bbqed, and laid out in the pool and had a great time, I have very few pictures, I have to admit, I was kid less, and I spent most of my time in the pool. It was nice to get the gang together from work and just be friends!!

Then on Monday, we had our first official day of summer. We watched movies, swam, and fished. I got some really cute pictures of the boys.

Ready to Go Fishin'
Jayce was looking at the worms and saying "Ewwwww!"

Henry loves to fish.

Have a great week!!!

Getting Caught Up...

This will be a post with a few different topics. I want to get caught up before this weekend and before Summer Vaca starts! (I love that I can say that!)

First, We are so proud of Henry, a few weeks ago, Henry was surprised during morning assembly and he received the Parkway Pride award at school!! Luckily, my dad was able to go and be there for him and take some pictures!!!

The Parkway Pride winners get to ring the school bell!

@@@ Cow Wrangling @@@
The first weekend in May, the boys in our family got together and helped dad brand and work his cattle. It was actually really fun and a humorous way to spend time with and help out family. I will have to be selective here, I took a ton of pictures!!

Chad was the Brander...
Summer ate Nan's yummy cookies...
Henry helped Papaw get the cows in the shoot...
Big Pa helped too...
Brandon was the wormer...
John was the muscle to keep the cows still and calm, he is offically the cow whisperer here!!
A nice cold one after a days hard work!!

The weekend after the cow wrangling, I had my 2nd Annual Magnolia Alumni Matball Tourney: we had a blast and this year we won the entire tourney!!! Go Team '97 - Champions!!!!

The Champions!!!!
Me & Natalie running the bases looking for a score!!
Hanging out waiting for our next game!!

We have been busy, busy these last few weekends and it is not even going to slow down. We have Austin's Walk-a-thon tomorrow, next weekend we are celebrating Memorial Weekend in style, and the weekend after that I have a friend's baby shower. Summer vaca starts in 4.5 days and we are ready. As much as Henry loves school, he even said he can't wait until summer. Have a great weekend!!!

Jayce's 2nd Birthday

We had a little celebration at home on Jayce's birthday, a little dinner and some cupcakes. We had a party earlier that day at Stephanie's with his friends. She said they had a lot of fun and loved the decorations and a change in pace at day care. I got some great pictures of the Birthday Boy!!

All in all I think he was happy with the celebration or at least the cake! ;)

Easter 2011

Okay, I will admit I am a little behind, but hey pictures of the cuties are pictures of the cuties. ;) I always love when John's family is here for Easter, we have so much fun and the egg hunt is much more interesting with 4 kiddos instead of 2. Enjoy.

The 2nd Annual Bente Boys Bash!!

Between the party, Easter, and Jayce's birthday, I took 302 pictures. With this said, I will spare you the time and do several post this week. In order of appearance, I am going to start with the birthday party. What a crazy party. We had a huge turn out and I think everyone had a great time. It always cracks me up how people show up and leave in waves. We had a great time and Henry did not slow down until late that evening. Thank you to everyone who showed up to celebrate my babies' special day.

I thought it would be cool if our party guest entered through the jaw of a shark, so I called up my creative sis-in-law and we put the plan in motion!!
John who said that he would not help because it was too difficult, was right in the middle of our project!
I think it turned out way above my expectations!! Thanks Sis you rock!!
Henry thought it was way cool!!
The kiddos getting tattooed up!!
Cuz love!!
The birthday boys!!
Pinata Fun!!
Opening presents was great: Cheryl, you will be glad to know that you made the oldest birthday boy blush, when he pulled out the guitar underwear, he turned instantly red! Ha!
Jayce thought his piano was awesome, can't you tell from the look on his face?!
Grandpa Bente fishing with all the munchkins!!
PaPaw getting a rare moment of cuddle time at the end of the night!!

There were so many pictures it was VERY hard to choose, I thought I would keep it short and sweet. Easter pictures tomorrow!!!!
