Just being Henry...

We have not done much since I started school this week, which by the way I am loving. I am at Magnolia High School now. It is a huge difference, students, staff, and drive time. Henry's new sitter is working out great. It started off really rough ending in tears. Both me and Henry, but this morning, I gave him a kiss and he told me "bye-bye" and wiggled out of my arms so he could play. Paw-Paw watches him every Wednesday to give him some extra TLC. His hair is FINALLY growing out, but it is in that awkward stage, we were going out to eat the other night and I was putting some gel in his hair so it would stay down and I realized it could do a mini Mohawk. He thought he was Mister Cool!!!!!

San Antonio Part II -- Sea World

Saturday we all went to Sea World, all though I will admit Henry was a bit young, we still had a great time. I think next time we will do the rides and waterpark first and then attend the shows. We wanted to make all the shows and by the time we wanted to go into the waterpark, the place was jammed packed and Henry was hot and tired and was just ready to get out of there. Regardless, the shows were great and one of those things you don't want to miss out on.

All in all it was a great trip. Henry did a spectacular job on the ride there and back (he is usually not a good car rider), he was a little man while we were eating in resturants, and as good as expected at Sea World. We are very proud of him and realized he is getting older and leaving that "babyness" behind. :( I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us. I am truly blessed to have such a great family....

Family Vaca in San Antonio

This past weekend we met John's family in San Antonio for one last vacation before the summer is over. It was a nice getaway. We had some hotel issues, but we were rewarded with an upgrade to the hotel suite, which was awesome and roomy. We went to build-a-bear for Taylor and Mykel's birthdays and Henry went through the steps and made one of his own and actually named it himself, he chose "Momo". It was sooooo cute. This was just Friday we went to Sea World on Saturday and I will post these pictures later. Henry and I are going to meet Grammy for dinner. So, San Antonio is to be continued.........

Still Going Strong

This past weekend John's mom, sister and her 2 kids came for a visit. We did a whole bunch of shopping, but made time for some fun in the sun. Taylor is staying with us for the week until we make our final vaca in San Antonio. Taylor is great with Henry and he loves his Tay-Tay!!!!!




The 4 of us went out on the boat yesterday. The kids had so much fun "surfing"!!!!

Old Friends, Strong Ties

I visited one of my closest friends a couple weeks ago. Jeanna and I have been friends since Jr. High. Ahhh, the memories of the equipment closet and our coaches making us work out our argument of the day!!! Ha!! Anyway we are both married and our children are about 3 months apart. It was great to see Jeanna and her family. There is a real difference between the boy and girl idea of things, but it was cute to watch them both in their own little world...
