@@@ Summer in July @@@

One word: HOT! Yet, we are still having fun, just trying to find alternatives to being outside. A lot has been happening, so I am pretty much going to let the pictures do the talking for me!!

I. Swim Lessons
Henry started swim lessons last week and let me tell you; they did not start off smoothly. The water is a bit cold for Henry's taste and for the first two lessons I thought would be our last. I saw that he was doing well though and I had to listen to my gut rather than my softy momma heart and pushed him to keep them up. Now, he loves them and wants to continue the lessons. Which I agreed to, but we decided private lessons would be better and be more beneficial to him.

II. A special visitor
We are very grateful to have Taylor with us this week. Henry is having a blast with his cousin and we are trying to do as much as we can in the short time she is staying with us.

I have to throw this picture in, I found this swimsuit and have been waiting for it to fit Jayce, it is sooooooooooo adorable!!


Of course they have been swimming. (Yes, Jess she has sun screen on ;))

III. Blue Bell Creamery
We visited Blue Bell this morning. It was a neat little trip and hey, who wouldn't want free ice cream!!

We had a great 4th of July. John's family came up and we had a great weekend.

We went into Tomball and watched their show, they have a fantastic show!!




After we left Tomball we went back to the house and let the kids pop some fireworks. Henry loves sparklers (he calls them sprinklers) and roman candles. I love 4th of July and I think this was the best one yet!! I hope all of you had a great holiday weekend. I am sooooo glad John's family came up and spent the weekend with us. Growing, Growing, & Growing Some More...

When I say growing I mean both boys, sometimes I cannot believe it. For example, I put some 4T pants on Henry the other day and they looked like capris. Yet, 5T fits so far in length, but you should see the waist, it swallows him. On the other hand, I have a 2 month old that is growing out of 3 month old clothes, geez, there is no winning!!! Henry is hilarious, the personality on this kids cracks me up, this afternoon we were eating at Chic-fil-a and he looks at me and says "Mommy you need to teach me how to drive!" What?? Your 4... Jayce is doing more and more each day, the smiles are in abundance now and they are so adorable. My favorite is when John walks in the door and Jayce sees him, this huge lip curling smile comes across Jayce's face. So cute. Henry is also officially swimming now without help. Figures, I just signed him up for swim lessons that he starts on Monday and the kid starts trucking in the water. Here are some recent pictures of the boys...
