Friends and Tradition

I cannot believe that October is almost over and that it is getting closer to the Holidays!!! I love this time of year. We have started a tradition since Henry has been born. We go and by two pumpkins and we decorate them. This year, Henry helped out, it was neat, he really got into cleaning out the pumpkin, which last year, he would not touch the slimy stuff, and he even drew the face on his pumpkin, it is so cute.With Daddy's help pumpkin carving was a success!!! The boys were so proud of their work...


We had a visit from our old friends Aunt Tarrah and Kyle, this visit went well, they played very well together. Actually, Henry drove Kyle around the yard in the Gator. I think this is the first time I have EVER seen Kyle sit in one spot for such a long period of time. It was so adorable, it was so good to see the two of them, they moved to Colorado this past July and we miss them dearly!!!

The Pumpkin Patch

This weekend me and my friend Layla took the kiddos to the Pumpkin Patch. Enjoy the slide show!!! I am loving the fall weather tonight, it is 63 degrees out right now!!! Happy Fall, even if it is just for a few days!!!

A Visit from Grandma & Grandpa Bente

We had a nice visit with John's parent's this weekend. Henry always enjoys seeing them, showing them all his new toys and vocabulary. Here are some pics from this weekend.

We went out to eat Saturday night and Henry was able to show off his Spaghetti talents. We are so proud!!




On Sunday, we kept to tradition and picked out our pumpkins that we will carve. Henry was much involved in picking out what pumpkin he wanted. He wasn't big on pictures, but he had fun pulling the wagon.

We had a good weekend, we have today off. As much as I love these days off, it sure makes me realize how much I would love to stay home with Henry. Hope everyone is doing well and I cannot wait until we get some "REAL" fall weather!!!!!!

Change in Weather

Well we have had an interesting few weeks. The change in weather brought all three of us down and we are still recovering. I stayed home with Henry last Monday and we had to go to the Doctor, who in return told me what I already knew. However, I would rather be safe than sorry. Here are some cute pics of Lil' H.

Monday, when we stayed home, he asked to play outside, he wasn't his usual self outside, so I brought out some crayons, he colored for over 30 minutes. I think these pictures are so cute.

That is pretty much it for now. Everyone is doing well. I am really enjoying my new job and I am very satisfied with my change in school districts. I am very blessed to have received that call in June. John's work should start to slow down, but who knows, it is so unpredictable. Henry surprises us everyday with something new, whether it be a new word, a new tune, or something. I hope everyone is doing great. Take care!!

WeEkEnD fUn!!!!

We had a busy weekend and I wanted to share some of the fun with everybody. I know you miss hearing from me on a weekly basis!! ;)School is in full swing, Henry is enjoying his new school. He tells me randomly "I have fun in school." I ask him on the way is he going to have fun at school today and he tells me " I am going to play outside, play with the toys, and Cully (color)." It is a great feeling that he likes his new school and I know Mrs. Stepy (as Henry calls her) is relieved that he has stopped crying and clinging to me in the mornings. Now he gives me and kiss and says "bye Mommy!" Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying our new fall mornings, I know we have. Enjoy the pictures from this weekend. Ohhh!

Friday: We went to the Cy-Ridge VS. Magnolia game (GO DAWGS!) and then Henry spent the night at Grammy's house.

After the party, we went to see Nanny and Big Paw-Paw: it is always so much fun to see Henry interact with my grandparents!! They have so much fun!!
