We took Henry to Monster Jam '08 and oh are we in for it; this kid is a Monster Truck junkie!!! Lightening McQueen is being jumped by Grave Digger!!! It is too funny. Here are some pictures from are 1st, but certainly not last time at Monster Jam...
Henry waiting for the "BIG" trucks!!!

Batman was Henry's 2nd Favorite Truck...

It def. captured his attention...

His favorite is Grave Digger...

We were able to meet Grave Digger's Driver the Friday before and he signed Henry's Little Grave Digger, it was great, then Henry wanted to see his truck and he LICKED off the autograph!! Geez!!!
This was an outstanding family experience and I believe we are Monster Jam Fans from here on out!!!!!

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying this last bit of so-called "winter weather".

Pre-Monster Jam Show!!!

Wow! I just had the best morning. We are taking Henry to Monster Jam tomorrow evening and John found out that The Grave Digger was going to be at UTI this morning, which is down the street from his work. So we decided that it would be cool for Henry to see the "big truck" up close a personal. We had a good time and we even got a brief demo of what we will see tomorrow. The driver even signed Henry's little grave digger! It was so fun.

Riding his first bike!!!

We had a few first today that I had to share. He got a little Radio Fyler Tricycle for his birthday last year and today was the first day that he rode it all by himself!!! Yea! Henry, he did not want to get off, until Daddy started the boat of course!! He also received his first bloody nose today. He was riding his Jeep around and ran smack dab into the slide,at the same time his little nose hit the top of the windsheild and all I heard was crying. The nothing but blood dripping down his face. It was hard as a mom not to flip out, but I was proud of myself, stayed calm, called for John's help and it stopped fairly quickly. We are in Day 5 of wearing big boy underwear, we had a rough day yesterday, but the other 4 days have been going smoothly. I am just being consistent as possible and he is getting better. Henry's only problem is he acts like he is going to miss out on so much, just to stop and use the potty. Wow, it is on mid-January and two more first under our belts, I cannot wait to see what else this year has in store for our family. Have a great week everyone!!!

A Visit from John's Family

A few weeks ago, John's mom, dad, and sister and her two kids made a trip to see us and spend some time with Henry. I had to go back to work on that Friday, so they babysitted for me, sounded like it had been a long time since they have had to keep up with a 2 year old. Henry had a blast, he loves hanging out with his cousins. Plus, I know that John loves having his family down and being around them, he is a completley different person when they are around. It is nice for me as well, I usually get all the picking and I get a break, he has someone else to pick on for a few days. Ha!!

Aunty Jess & Henry

We ate at Rain Forest Cafe we ordered the Volcano to celebrate John's Birthday and our 6th Annivesary, this was Henry's reaction!

John's parent gave the Smart Cycle to Henry for Christmas. He didn't get the concept of peddling and playing a game at first, it took him a few days and now he is a pro at the game, he will play on it for 15-20 nminutes at a time, a few times a day. We bought him a few games to go along with it, there is a dinosaur one that he loves. It has a maze that he has to move the joy stick around to feed the dinosaur, a racing game, and a game where he has to match all three symbols before moving on to the next. He plays on it especially before he goes to bed and he is half asleep still trying to peddle, it is too funny. I am hoping to get a picture of this one night.

Henry's vocabulary is increasing daily, he says "Thats disgusting" to things he doesn't like. It is too cute and he is always surprising us with things he knows and we didn't know he knew. I hope this finds everyone's new year starting off well!!!

Christmas & New Years

I have found that I have tons of pictures, but I am going to try and sum up Christmas and New Years in a nutshell!!! Henry was soooooo much fun this year, he got soooo excited opening gifts and watching other people open their gifts. He stares at you and tells you over and over again "open it" and then he can't take it anymore and proceeds to helps you open your gifts. It was humorous!!! I hope everyone had a great Chritmas and is having a good start to the new year. I made 2 different slide shows, it was just faster to load up the pictures that way!! Enjoy!!
