Happy 4th Birthday!!!

Wow, I wouldn't call it birthday, more like Birthdays. We celebrated Henry's birthday on April 11th, with our usual shin-dig!! It turned out great thanks to everyone who helped and came to celebrate our little man's birthday. The on his actual birthday, I brought stuff to have a party at school and we also took him out to eat at our favorite mexican joint!!! I will let the pictures do the talking. Enjoy. Saturday, April 11th -- A.K.A. The John Deere B-day Party:

Wishful thinking of getting a picture with all the kids sitting & looking at the camera -- Ha!

Eating B-day cupcakes at school:

Okay, this outting was priceless, we went to our favorite mexican joint and ate dinner, he loves Rancheros! We decided to have them sing Happy Birthday to Henry, it was hilarious, he was a ham the entire time, telling everyone that it was his birthday and he couldn't wait for them to sing to him; until it actually happened, if we weren't laughing so hard, I think he would of cried. Henry took it like a big boy and made it even better. The pictures really do the talking here...
Happy Birthday to me!

Telling daddy about his day!

Okay - I am hoping the video works, after Henry got whip cream in the face he kept telling us "That was ridiculous!" Why did they do that? and Let's not do that again, I got him on video saying "ridiculous", but it does not quite sound like it should!! Ha!

~Ducks~

Yes, you have it right, Henry is now the caretaker of 5 baby ducks. For those of you who don't know, we have about an acres worth of pond. We decided to give it a try and raise some ducks for our pond. We tried about 4 years ago and 1 survived, so we are hoping we have better luck this time. If they can survive Henry first. I say "don't..." constantly and some I never thought would come out of my mouth. BOYS!! They are so cute and Henry is so fascinated with the ducklings. We put their box right next to Outlaw's kennel to get him use to them, I don't think he knows how to react around the little ones. Here are some pictures of Henry yesterday when we brought them home. So cute!!

Letting them go for a swim & Henry trying to feed them a pine needle...

Just watching...

Just watching a little closer...

Okay, let's see if they will eat this!!

Henry finds it very funny, that they will try to eat most of the stuff he tries to feed them. We let them run around after school today. I did not know that baby ducks could exercise a kid so well!! Ha

@@@ Update @@@

I hope this post finds everyone doing well. We are adjusting back to our regular schedule after a very relaxing spring break. Everything is going well and we are counting down the weeks until Baby Jayce makes his first appearance. We had a great baby shower thanks to Layla, Brittany, my mom and John's mom and sister. We had a coed bar-b-que and everyone was able to be involved in the celebration of our new addition. I am not going to post any pictures though because they all have me in them and they look awful! Ha! I am serious, it must of been way hot that day and I was more swollen than usual. That is the benefit of being the creator of this blog, no bad pictures of me!!! It is weird, I look in the mirror and yes, my tummy is huge, but overall I don't feel like I look that big in the face, arms, legs, etc. Then, I look at some pictures of myself and just sigh, ugh... The crazy thing is I am still 20 lbs. lighter now than I was with Henry at this point. BUT, I will share some cute pictures taken of Henry for his 4th birthday that is coming up. I have to vent just a bit, I have always been a fan of The Picture People, but the last two times that we have went, I haven't been too impressed. They take like 30 pictures, but only show you 12, that ticks me off, we know our children better than them, who are they to say we pick the pictures we think are best of your kid, they aren't looking for that look that is sooooo that kid. They rushed through the photo shoot and to be honest the 13 pictures that they showed me, I was not that impressed by. Hey, saved me money though. We will not be using them again and I will never recommend them to anyone. Anyway, here are the 2 cute pictures that I did get!!!

**This is my favorite picture, my little boy is growing up soooo fast...

**Country Boy at heart, you can thank Paw-Paw for the love of cows and John Deere, which is the theme of his party this year per Henry. It is cute!!

I go back to the dr. tomorrow, last time I was measuring 2 weeks ahead of schedule. We are all messed up though, I am measuring 2 weeks ahead, Jayce is weighing in right on schedule, yet he is a week ahead in length. We shall see what the dr. says tomorrow. I will keep you posted.

*** Art Work ***

Henry loves playing with his sidewalk chalk, John on the other hand could do without; but let's be honest, John does not get much say on this one!! Ha! Henry draws all sorts of stuff, but recently it is beginning to actually make sense, he drew a bird house today and our family. I took the picture of John, me, and Henry, it is too cute. I hope you can see his picture, it was hard to take a picture of.

We are on spring break this week. F-I-N-A-L-L-Y!!!! We are enjoying our time together, I am not making any plans, just seeing where the day takes us, it is sooo nice. I will hopefully be able to update later this week with more pictures of whatever we are doing. XOXO

Big Brother Class

My cousin posted a blog that she took her boys to a siblings class and I thought that was really neat, so I looked into it at my hospital. For $10 bucks, it was really cute and got Henry really thinking what it means to be a bog brother. He was really excited and went in with a great attitude, I think about half way through it he became a bit overwhelmed, but he said he had fun and he did learn from the class. We were asking him questions and he was able to answer them. Stephanie said at daycare he was talking about the "baby" class. I believe it was worth the time. Here are some pictures of our newest adventure...

Changing "Baby Brother's" diaper -- I don't think he will be offering his services in this area!!!

On the other hand, the other one will be offering his services to changing diapers, Ha!

Learning how to hold the little one...

Learning how to swaddle the baby -- I must say he was pretty good at this!!

I have to say the story the nurse was reading, really caught Henry's attention...

And the completion certificate and medal!

I know it does not seem like we have been doing a lot, but we are crazy busy. Trying to get ready for Henry's party, Jayce, trying to make sure everything is golden at work, and trying to get the house in shape, we are constantly going. I am officially in the nesting stage and feel the ultimate urge to clean everything V-E-R-Y throughly, so cleaning the living room, is like an all day event. I am 32 weeks this week, I had some Braxton Hicks a few weeks ago, but the ultrasound showed everything was good, he is just completely out of room, but still about 3 lbs, but a week ahead in growth. He is going to be a tall boy and yes, I asked her to check to make sure he was still a he!! I couldn't help it..LOL I am getting very excited and Henry always ask when his baby brother is going to be here. I tell him soon enough, don't rush, lets just enjoy eachother for the moment. Hope everyone is doing well.
