What a Merry Christmas We Had!

Christmas was so fun this year, Henry showed huge excitement and we were able to discuss the true meaning of Christmas and Jayce had a blast opening gifts! Enjoy the pictures!

We started Christmas out making cookies for Santa.
Henry helped Jayce cut his cookies!
They made reindeer food!
Jayce got bored and went to play by himself.
Henry continued on and decorated the cookies!
After all that decorating, it was time to go to Nan & Pa's!
Henry was surprised by his gifts!
Uncle Rick showed Henry some strings on his new electric guitar
He looks rockin'!
Jayce had fun with his cousin Summer and her gift!
Henry schooled Pa-Pa on his new iPod touch!
Henry wrote his first official letter to Santa!
He was very excited to get one in return!
The boys were ready to open presents!
Angry Bird blankets!
Helping Grammy!
Jayce & PaPa building his big wheel!
The boys helping John with his present!
We had a wonderful Christmas, it is my favorite time of year and the best part is spending time with family and being thankful for all our blessings!

Yay Christmas Vacay!!!!!

It's been too long, time is flying the Bente household. I am so thankful it is Christmas break for us, I need some kid time, house time, and by myself time!!! I won't keep you here, let's look at pictures. :)

Okay I am behind: In November we went to San Antonio to see Tay swim, we made a trip to the zoo as well.

We went to the beach for Thanksgiving, I just realized most of those pictures are on my phone, another day for that.
The boys picked their ornaments, Jayce picked a Thomas the Train...
 And Henry a football!
I love this Elf on the Shelf picture!
Good one of me and Henry!!
Alrighty, I am tired and those are the best from the last few months. Hope everyone has a Happy Holiday season.

Happy Halloween!!!!

We had a lot of fun last night, even if it was a school night. We wanted to do more, but Jayce was strung out by 7:30. We had mummy dogs for dinner and then did a few blocks of trick or treating. I have to admit, I was not thrilled with the costume choices originally, BUT, in the end they were cute and I am glad they picked a character they would have fun with!!
Ready to do some trick or treating!
Let's Go!!
Jayce had no clue what he was about to discover!
We always practice with our first stop, which is our neighbor, who told us one year he always buys candy just in case, we are usually his only trick or treaters!
Apparently, our kids have a hard time looking at the camera! Too much happening I suppose!
John got the same thing, looking everywhere else besides the camera!
I love this picture, you can tell he is having a good time, he was amazed at how you just walk up and people give you candy!!!
Henry really got the hang of it this year, he said "Happy Halloween or Trick or Treat" and plenty of thank you's!!

I always dread the whole concept of walking up to people's doorsteps and doing the whole Halloween thing, but afterwards, it is so much fun watching the boys soak up the day!! Hope everyone had a great Halloween.

Pumpkin Patch 2011

We went to the pumpkin patch last weekend. Jayce was in his usual 2 year fashion. His way or no way, but we were able to get some decent pictures. Lucky for me a friend of mine was there doing mini photo sessions and her 11:00 appointment did not show and she snapped a few shots of us and the boys!!!

This is my favorite!!!
She took others, but I had to condense for a shorter post, these are my pictures after the top one.
The pumpkin patch had this old truck, it made a great picture.
John and the boys
Jayce thought the little pumpkins were cool

Our handsome boy!
Jayce wouldn't take a picture with us!
Henry was on a roll!
Thought this was cool!!
Jayce was having fun in the pumpkin wagon.
They fell asleep in my bed the other night, I thought it was so neat that they were pretty much sleeping the same way!!!

Have a great week!!!

Happy Fall!

I love cool weather, I wish it would have stayed longer. My spirits are high though, because I know it will come back! We have been so busy with work and school that we have not had much time for pictures. :(
Hopefully this will change, since I see the pumpkin patch in our near future! Here is what I have, most are honestly from my phone.
Jayce was amazed by the rain!
He stayed like this for about a half an hour!
Henry and his dog!
My coffee addict...
We had Family Reading Night at Henry's school, it was so neat, he had picked out three books to read to me, it was a neat experience, and I cannot wait until the next time.
Jayce thought it was cool too.
We ended the night at the book fair!
Jayce loves Thomas!
Hopefully by the end of the weekend there will be pumpkin patch pics. Have a great weekend.
