Christmas Preparations: Henry making cookies for Santa

CHRISTMAS EVE @ NAN'S:
Daddy helping Jayce open his presents
Henry got a cool stamp set
Nan playing a game with Jayce and Summer
Henry showing Pa how to play  his DS!!
My two little men!!!!

Getting ready for Santa:
Henry made a goodie bag for Santa's reindeer at school, he was so excited to go lay out the hay for them.
Christmas Morning:
Jayce is finally getting the hang of opening presents
Playing in the wrapping paper!
Enjoying their Anywhere Chairs...
While Jayce was napping, we decided to play with Henry's RC toys.
First on the list: Santa's RC Monster Truck!
I think Henry was having a good time!!
Pa Pa's Rocket, Henry was having a hard time getting it to take off...
We ended our Christmas lounging and playing with our new toys. Mom and Dad came over and ate lunch and enjoyed the boys. I am so thankful for my family and here's to many more great family moments...
2010 was a good year, no complaints here. Henry has really grown into a wonderful big brother and Jayce is enjoying being the little brother. They are playing so well together, though at times they do get a bit rough, I suspect that is just a boy thing. I wanted to get Christmas pictures up before the new year. I hope this finds everyone well and ready to go head to head with 2011. Happy New Year!!

@@@ Pre-Christmas Break Post @@@

I feel like I haven't been blogging as regular as I should, you must feel neglected. To be honest we have just been trying to make it until break. This will be a quick post. I got my Dad to come down and take a Christmas picture for our card and we got some cute shots; so I thought I would share. Thanks Dad for helping out with the family pictures. We love ya!

We are so ready for the break!! We have my mom side Christmas this weekend, and then John is off with us the first week, this will be the first time he has done this. We have never been off at the same time. This should be interesting, I know I am going to be asking him to go find something to do outside, hopefully it won't rain! Ha.
Happy Holidays

Waiting for Christmas Break

We are counting down the days until Christmas break. We have just been hanging out as a family. Here is a combination of what we have been up to and some pictures from my phone.

The boys were very quiet the other night, this is what I walked in on...{So Sweet}

Handsome Lil' Boy
Loves his scooter
I was so happy to see Jeanna, she lives in North Carolina and we only get to see each other once or twice a year, it is always a pleasure to catch up and see our kids play together.
{Noah, Henry, and Karis}
Where was Jayce?? Playing by himself...
Later that evening, my good friend Sarah and her family came over. We fried up some fish and just hung out around the fire. We put a movie on for the boys and this is how they fell asleep. This is how it is suppose to be.

Mobile Pictures:

I'm Thankful...

I'm thankful for...
My family who is beautiful and precious and everything to me.
For my parents who love and support me.
For my in-laws who treat me as if I was their own and love and support us.
For my SIL and BIL and my niece and nephew, they are the brother and sister I never had.
For my friends who are always there for me when I need them.
For our jobs that help us provide for our family.
The many blessings in my life and I pray to God each night thanking him for what he has given me.
My husband, though we have our hard times, we always meet back in the middle.

We traveled down to Edinburg this holiday weekend. The trip went well, the kids did well in the car and I cannot believe we already have to go back to work tomorrow. {Boo.} For some reason I don't get a lot of pictures when we travel south, I think we keep so busy that I don't have time to take pictures. Here are the pictures I did take.

{The boys got their own Plasma Cars!! Thanks Grandma Bente!}

We came home Saturday night, so we had today to wash clothes, rest & get our Christmas Tree!!

{Grammy & Henry coming from getting him a "Sugar Cone"}
{Ready to take the tree home}

Anyone who knows Henry, knows he has a Santa complex, this is a HUGE step for him!! He wouldn't sit on his lap, but he was a bit in awe of him!! ;)

We have 3 weeks and counting until Christmas break, I am so ready for this break. I need a nice rest at home with my boys. Have a wonderful week and we will catch up soon.
XOXO
