Something to Start Your Monday off with a Smile!!!

Tomorrow is our last day before school starts. :( I am really nervous about starting work with all of our new changes, but I am praying that it will all work itself out!!! Henry starts Pre-school Tuesday, he is really excited and ready to learn. Jayce started Mrs. Stephanie's last Monday and seems to be adjusting well. It is so nice to have someone we feel comfortable with and making this transition a great one. I have started work at the new high school this year and I am really impressed so far and I am very excited about working with such great people. John is taking on a new role as he likes to put it "soccer dad", he will be taking the boys to school in the morning to relieve some of the stress for me,since my drive is a lot further now. He cleaned out his truck this evening and lined up the car seats, it was a sight. Now, we just have to get him in the routine of remembering to get Henry to brush his teeth, comb is hair, etc. We will see, his first day is Tuesday. Luckily Stephanie is the best ever and is okay with receiving Jayce in his present state of waking up, dirty diaper and all. Ha!! I will post pictures of Henry's first day later this week. I wanted to share this video with all of you. It is hilarious. Jayce started cracking up the other day during his dinner!!!!

I want to say Congrats to the Montgomery Family (Layla & Shawn) Alyssa Grace was born this evening! 8 lbs. 20 inches and soooooooo adorable!!!

Beach Trip - Galveston

We were able to make a small family vacation before our summer is officially closed. We had a great time and had a lot of fun, thanks Mom for coming with us and helping with Jayce, it made our trip that much more enjoyable!!! Here are the pictures from the trip.

We surf fished on Saturday, we caught tons of whiting, small drums, croakers, etc and I caught a SHARK!!! It was soooo much fun!! My arm was sore though.

On our way out we visited Seawolf Park - it has a submarine and a war ship from WWII. It was neat, but a little hot.

We had a great time and today we are just resting and recovering!!! I start work on Friday and Henry starts Pre-school in 2 weeks. (sob) I will survive that I promise, I just might not handle it very gracefully!! Ha!!

Jayce has gotten to the point where his milk does not quite hold him over until his last feeding at night, so with much begging, the dr. okayed it for Jayce to start rice cereal.

The first taste of rice was successful!!! He wore his "I love my big brother" bib and he did not make too much of a mess!!!! Now, if we can get more of a spoonful in his belly it will be great!!!!

Like Father, Like Son OR Like Big Bro, Like Lil' Bro???

Besides the obvious and John's picture being much older, there is not much difference between their baby photos. It is so amazing how much Jayce looks like John when he was a baby. Then, you look at Henry's baby photos and it looks like Jayce, just lighter hair and complexion. It is sooo cool.

Warning Cute Pictures Ahead!!!!

I got a coupon in the mail for Picture People and I could not pass it up! Plus, I really needed to get a good picture of Jayce and I wanted to get some pictures of the boys together. I tried a new location and I loved the photographer that I had. He really went out of the way to capture both boys attention. (Note: Grandparents - I have copies for you and you will be getting the soon!)
